The Television Disagreement

My wife and I have very different tastes in television, and what constitutes as "entertaining". I am very much against reality television, where she finds guilty pleasure in it.

Guilt is the correct response to feel for watching programs such as these, but I did not log on to preach...

Unfortunately, from my office, I can hear whatever is on the TV in the other room. I have started tracking certain things, and will sporadically share these findings with you. Through science, perhaps we can find what it is about these shows that sucks in a viewer. We'll divide the lowest common denominator (which in most cases, is the featured person on the show), and dissect the fascination. I've taken some notes that I wanted to share with you.
